April Wrapping Party
Thanks for wrapping all of the gifts for the May birthday wishes!
Today, I am delivering Birthday Gifts to 2 of the children I have been working with as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) from the Passaic County CASA office. I have been a CASA Volunteer for 7 years and one of the nicest parts of my job is to give these children a gift on their birthday.
The children tell me what they want and I process the request through our CASA office. Grant A Wish employees, volunteers, kind hearted people who donate – and anyone else who is involved in the process of giving these children a special Birthday – you are angels, who I cannot thank enough, on behalf of the children.
One child is a boy age 14 years who asked for a Tablet. The 4 year old girl asked for a mannequin head so she could comb and style the hair. Both children are getting the gift they asked for. What better way to Celebrate a Child than on his or her birthday?
Thank you – everyone involved in this wonderful project.
